I can't see it being approved. It may be a wonderful piece of architecture and a wonderful collection of modern art but it doesn't fit the National
Park System mandate for historical sites. What a waste of legal fees that should go to to worthy efforts, not to this.
Brian O'Neill opposed this project and for good reasons. I hope for the sake of all that Brian O'Neill worked for in bringing the Presidio and the GGNRA to us as one of the world's exceptional landscapes that this doesn't go through. |
